Professional Die Set for Pleated Screen Eyelets

This professional die set contains the two separate tools required to prepare PVC strips and install compatible metal eyelets in pleated insect screen and pleated blind systems.

The punch die prepares the installation opening in the PVC strip. The setting die then joins the eyelet and selected washer after the opening has been prepared.

Both dies are specially hardened and heat-treated for repeated production and workshop use.

How Does It Differ from the Starter Set?

Both sets complete the same basic operations: preparing the hole and setting the eyelet.

The professional version differs because both the punch die and setting die are manufactured from specially hardened, heat-treated steel. It is intended for repeated workshop work and production applications.

Punching and Setting Are Separate Operations

The punch die prepares the PVC-strip opening. It does not fasten the eyelet or washer.

The setting die forms the eyelet barrel over the selected washer. It does not punch or cut the PVC strip.

What Does the 4–4.5 mm / 0.157–0.177 in Range Mean?

This value identifies the target eyelet size class. It must not automatically be treated as the exact outside diameter of the eyelet or the exact hole cut by the punching die.

The actual eyelet barrel, washer and PVC-strip construction should be checked against the working dimensions of the dies before repeated production.

Is Every Eyelet with the Same Nominal Size Compatible?

No. Eyelets carrying the same nominal size may have different outer diameters, barrel heights, visible-face profiles and washer constructions.

The actual eyelet and washer geometry must match the setting die. Compatibility should not be determined from the nominal measurement alone.
