Short-Handle Manual Setting Die Holder

This short-handle manual apparatus holds compatible installation dies used for fitting snap fasteners, eyelets, rivets, jeans buttons and similar fastening products with a hammer.

The short upper handle holds the upper part of the selected die. The lower base plate supports the lower die and fastening component. Once all parts have been positioned correctly, installation is completed by applying a controlled vertical hammer strike to the upper handle.

Its compact design makes the apparatus easy to position, carry and store. It offers a practical solution for users who do not have a hand press and need to complete samples, repairs, craft projects or low-volume applications.

Short-Handle Design

This is the short-handle model. Its compact construction requires less storage space and makes it easy to position on the working surface.

Because the user’s hand is closer to the hammer impact area than with a long-handle model, the holder must be gripped firmly and used with controlled hammer strikes. Suitable hand and eye protection should be worn.

How to Use

1. Select the correct die for the snap fastener, eyelet, rivet or jeans button.

3. Fit the upper die into the short upper holder.
4. Place the lower die into the base plate.
5. Position the fastening components and application material correctly.
6. Hold the upper handle vertically and apply a controlled hammer strike.
7. Inspect the result before continuing with additional pieces.
