This 30L fabric button covering die is designed for 19 mm / 0.75 in covering work. It is used after the fabric has been cut to the required size, helping position the material over a compatible shank-button shell, snap cap or similar coverable component. During forming, the die supports centered fabric placement and more controlled edge gathering, which is especially useful for repeat workshop production. It does not cut fabric.

What the Die Is Used For

The same covering die may serve more than one compatible component type when the actual diameter and shape match. Typical applications include fabric-covered shank buttons and compatible snap caps. A shared nominal size alone does not guarantee that parts from different fastening systems are interchangeable.

Production and Selection Notes

Prepare the fabric separately, place the fabric and matching component into the die, and complete the forming step with a physically compatible press or machine. For snap fasteners, covering the visible cap and setting the lower snap components are separate operations. Lower components may require a system-specific setting die.

Verify the actual component diameter and shape before ordering. Fabric thickness, stretch and layer count can affect the finished result, so a sample run with the production fabric is recommended before larger batches.

Non-Standard Colors and Finishes

The prices listed for our products apply to the standard color options offered. Colors outside the standard range, enamel work, stone details or similar custom work are charged in addition to the product price.

Any price difference is determined by the material and workmanship required for the chosen finish.

Sales Unit

All prices shown apply based on the sales unit specified on the product page. This unit may vary by product — pack, gross, meter or piece.

Retail Orders

For retail orders, packaged products are shipped in the color indicated on the pack. For products where a minimum order quantity is specified on the product page, the color you selected is only shipped when the order meets that minimum quantity. For color requests below the stated minimum, we ship from whichever colors are currently in stock.
