Padova Hole Cutter Collection with Manual Striking Tool
This professional collection has been assembled for leather, textile, tarpaulin, bag and accessory workshops that regularly require several different hole diameters. It contains 18 complete Padova cutter sets and one long-handle manual striking tool.
The Padova cutters cover 17 different hole diameters between 1 mm / 0.039 in and 15 mm / 0.591 in. Two structurally different 5 mm / 0.197 in Padova models are included as separate products, bringing the cutter quantity to 18 complete sets.
Collection structure: 18 complete Padova cutter sets and one complete long-handle manual striking tool. Total: 19 individual product sets and 38 physical components.

When Should This Collection Be Selected?

Hole Preparation Is Not Final Installation
These tools prepare holes only. They do not install eyelets, snap fasteners, rivets or other hardware. A separate setting die compatible with the actual fastener construction is required for final installation.
The Padova cutter prepares the passage through the material. A setting die secures the eyelet, rivet, snap or other component after the correct opening has been prepared. Hole preparation and final installation are separate operations.
How to Select the Correct Hole Diameter
Do not select a cutter according to the visible cap or flange diameter. Measure the actual tube, post, pin, nail or leg that must pass through the material.
- Measure the component that passes through the material.
- Evaluate the total material thickness and elasticity.
- Allow less tolerance on thick, layered or rigid materials.
- Confirm that the hardware passes through without excessive clearance.
- Complete a sample test before repeated production.
Application Instructions
- Select the Padova cutter matching the required hole diameter.
- Confirm that the cutter and lower anvil belong to the same diameter.
- Place the material securely over the lower anvil.
- Keep the cutter perpendicular to the working surface.
- Confirm that the cutter is correctly fitted to the manual tool.
- Apply a controlled vertical hammer strike.
- Inspect the prepared opening and material edges.
- Adjust the impact gradually after testing on sample material.
Connection Compatibility Warning
The products shown in the supplied cart appear to use the connection option described as 1/4 in with an approximately 8 mm / 0.315 in connection diameter. Metric and imperial threads may have similar outside diameters while using different thread pitches and profiles.
Never force incompatible threads together. All cutters, lower anvils and manual tools must be ordered with matching connections. Physical compatibility should be confirmed before the collection is assembled and shipped.

Is an 11 mm / 0.433 in cutter included?
It is not included. The collection moves from 10 mm / 0.394 in to 12 mm / 0.472 in.
Why are there two 5 mm / 0.197 in cutters?
The collection contains the PDV00050DEL and KLP0005DEL models. They are separate products and must remain separately listed in the package contents.
Are lower anvils included?
Yes. Each Padova cutter is supplied with its corresponding lower anvil.
Is the long-handle striking tool included?
Yes. One KLP00EL01 long-handle manual striking tool set is included.
Can this collection install eyelets or rivets?
It prepares the required openings only. Final installation requires a separate setting die compatible with the selected eyelet, rivet or snap fastener.
Is a hammer included?
The hammer, press and other application machines are not included.
Can every cutter be fitted to the same tool?
Only cutters with matching connection standards should be used together. The connection diameter, thread pitch and thread profile must be confirmed before use.
Is it suitable for production work?
The cutters may be used with compatible press or machine systems. The long-handle striking tool is primarily suitable for samples, repairs, occasional applications and small production runs.
