What Is the Three-Size Pleated Screen Eyelet Trial Set?

This complete trial set contains the machine, dies and consumable components required to prepare pleated screen PVC strips and install eyelets in three different size groups.

The included groups cover 4.5 mm / 0.177 in, 5 mm / 0.197 in and 6 mm / 0.236 in eyelets. Each group has its own punching die and setting die.

Each size includes 250 metal eyelets, 250 plastic washers and 250 metal washers. The complete consumable content is 750 eyelets, 750 plastic washers and 750 metal washers.

Functions of the Included Equipment

Punching dies: Prepare the round PVC-strip opening required for the corresponding eyelet barrel. They do not install the eyelet.

Setting dies: Close the matching eyelet over the selected plastic or metal washer. Each eyelet group must be used with its matching setting die.

Manual hand press: Operates the punching and setting dies through manual lever action. The die is changed according to the selected size and operation.

Plastic and Metal Washer Options

Both washer types are supplied for each size. They are alternative backing components. A plastic washer and a metal washer are not used together behind the same eyelet.

The two washer types allow sample installations to be prepared and compared on the actual PVC strip used in production.

How Does It Differ from Single-Size Sets?

A single-size set supports only one eyelet class. This complete trial version supports three different eyelet groups and includes the press, all matching dies and the consumable components required for sample applications.
