Designed for 40 mm (1.57 in) stainless steel eyelets with metal washers. One eyelet and washer pair is used per mounting point.

How to Install Eyelets in 5 Steps

1. Mark the eyelet positions on the fabric or tarp, and place the work on a firm backing surface.
2. Hold the pointed cutting end of the tool over the mark and strike it with a hammer to make the hole. Punch all holes first if you prefer.
3. Insert the stainless steel eyelet through the hole from the front of the material.
4. Place the supplied metal washer over the protruding barrel on the back.
5. Reverse the tool to its setting end. Use controlled hammer blows to secure the eyelet and metal washer.

Use a suitable backing surface and wear eye protection while setting eyelets.
