How to Install Eyelets: 5 Steps

1. Mark the installation points on the fabric or tarp and prepare a firm backing surface.
2. Place the pointed end over the mark and strike with a hammer to punch the hole. You can prepare all holes before setting the eyelets.
3. Insert the eyelet from the front, passing its barrel through the fabric or tarp.
4. Place the plastic washer on the back of the eyelet barrel.
5. Turn the tool around. Use the setting end and controlled hammer blows to secure the eyelet and washer.
