This 28 mm / 1.10 in stainless steel eyelet is designed for wide reinforced openings in drapery, curtains, stage curtains, tarps, truck covers, awnings, tents, shade systems, vinyl banners, heavy canvas and technical textiles. It is used where cords, rods, hooks, ropes or tensioning accessories need to pass through the material.

Installation Requires the Correct Die

Installation Warning: This is a large eyelet, not a small garment grommet. Thick tarpaulin, dense drapery, multilayer canvas or stiff technical textiles may require stronger press force than a basic hand press can provide.

It can be applied with a hand press, lever machine, motorized machine or automatic machine when the correct die is used. For small quantities or field applications, a suitable hand-striking setting tool may be considered. For repeatable production, press installation with correct die alignment is safer.

When to Choose Stainless Steel
