This N3 nylon coil zipper chain set includes 50 m / 164.04 ft of continuous zipper chain and 100 single-pull sliders for pillow covers, decorative cushions, seat pads, removable upholstery covers, textile organizers and similar home-textile projects. It gives sewing workshops and makers the freedom to prepare zipper lengths around the actual product pattern rather than adapting the product to a limited selection of pre-cut zippers.
Custom-length zipper chain is especially useful when a collection includes multiple cushion sizes, different pillow shapes, seat pads or made-to-order textile covers. You can plan the opening according to the filling, lining, welt piping, seam allowance and the access needed for removing the insert.
Why Use Continuous Zipper Chain for Pillow and Cushion Covers?
Pre-cut zippers can force a production team to compromise on the opening length. Continuous zipper chain helps you create short decorative cushion closures, longer seat-pad openings, pillow-bottom zippers or organizer access panels from the same stock.
A properly planned zipper opening improves more than the appearance of the cover. It makes it easier to remove inserts for washing, replace fillings, update seasonal fabrics and use the finished product comfortably over time.
Single-Pull Sliders for Standard One-Way Closures
The 100 included single-pull sliders are suited to standard closures that open and close from one direction. Typical applications include a zipper placed along the back of a cushion cover, at the bottom of a pillow cover, beside a seat pad or on the outer face of a textile organizer.
Projects that need opening access from both directions should be planned with a compatible double-pull slider system. For standard pillow, cushion and seat-cover construction, a single-pull setup provides a simple, familiar and practical closure.
Choose the Zipper Length from the Actual Opening
Do not select zipper length from the full outside dimensions of the cover. Mark where the zipper should truly start and end on the sewing pattern. Seam allowance, piping, lining thickness, corners and the space required to remove the insert can all change the ideal finished zipper length.
A zipper that is too short can make it difficult to remove the pillow insert or seat foam. A zipper that is unnecessarily long can cause extra tape, bulk around corners or an uneven sewing line. Test one complete sample with the actual fabric, lining and filling before starting a larger production run.
Finish Both Cut Ends Securely
Continuous zipper chain does not include factory-finished end stops at your cut position. After cutting, secure the ends with strong stitching, a suitable stop, folded tape finishing or another closure method appropriate for your cover construction. This helps prevent the slider from running off the zipper chain during use.
Indoor Textile Use and Custom Production Requests
This is a standard nylon coil zipper system, not a TPU-coated water-resistant zipper. For outdoor cushions, marine cushions, balcony textiles or products exposed to frequent moisture, evaluate the fabric, seams, flap construction and complete closure system together.
