11 mm / 0.43 in Zamak Bra Strap Slider and Ring 2-Piece Set combines two core lingerie strap components in one catalog item. Each set contains one slider and one ring. The slider adjusts strap length, while the ring creates a connection or direction-change point. Keeping both components in the same 11 mm / 0.43 in size family helps production teams manage matching hardware more consistently.
The slider and ring often work together in adjustable bra and swimwear straps. Combining them in one set can simplify purchasing, picking and stock control for repeat production.
One catalog unit represents one set, not one physical component. This set contains one slider plus one ring. A hook is not included. If the garment requires a hook, it should be planned separately or sourced as part of a three-piece set.
The nominal size identifies the shared hardware family. Real fit still depends on strap thickness, elasticity, edge finish and fold construction, so the slider, ring and actual production tape should be sample-tested together.
Both parts are classified as Zamak. Material, size and product type are maintained as separate catalog attributes so buyers can filter accurately. No unverified plating or durability claims are added.
The set can be considered for bras, bralettes, bikinis, swimwear, bodysuits, nightwear and similar adjustable strap garments. It is especially useful where a hook is not required or is handled through a separate connection method.
Single components are flexible during development or when only one part is needed. In repeat production where the slider and ring are always used together, the 2-piece set can simplify component management without adding an unnecessary hook.
Browse the live Bra Rings, Hooks and Strap Adjustment Buckles category for broader comparison. The live 8 mm / 0.31 in Zamak slider-and-ring 2-piece set provides a direct size comparison.
For a different construction in the same nominal 11 mm / 0.43 in class, review the live metal/nylon-coated slider-and-ring alternative. It is not the same material and should not be treated as an automatic substitute.
Test the slider and ring together with the actual strap. Confirm controlled movement through the slider, correct ring angle, acceptable fold thickness and balanced appearance on the finished garment.
Binding in the slider, excessive play in the ring, bulky folds or unstable connection angles suggest that the size/tape relationship should be reviewed. The system should be evaluated as a whole rather than blaming one component automatically.
The minimum order is 500 sets. Because each set contains two physical pieces, 500 sets represent 500 sliders plus 500 rings. Inventory planning should use set quantity and physical component quantity carefully.
A wider strap can change fold allowances, stitching positions and visual scale. Production specifications approved for the narrower size should be rechecked before use with the wider family.
No verified special chemical-care specification, plating thickness or corrosion rating is provided. Final garment care should be based on the complete material system.
One 11 mm / 0.43 in slider and one 11 mm / 0.43 in ring.
No. This is a 2-piece slider-and-ring set.
It identifies the hardware size family for both included components.
Both components are classified as Zamak.
Yes. The slider, ring and actual strap tape should be tested together.
The minimum order is 500 sets.
No. The construction is similar but the size families are different.
Plan the hook separately or choose a three-piece hardware set.
The safest way to select lingerie and swimwear hardware is to evaluate the component as part of the real production system rather than by catalog name alone. Size, material and component type should be read together. The 11 mm / 0.43 in value defines the nominal size family, Zamak defines the material classification, and the product type explains the function within the strap path.
Using the model code on purchasing and production documents also improves continuity. Once a sample is approved, keeping the exact model code on the bill of materials reduces the risk of replacing the component with a visually similar but functionally different item.
Strap width is only one variable. Thickness, elasticity, weave density and edge firmness can all change the way a tape interacts with metal hardware. A soft elastic may compress easily through a component, while a denser tape with the same nominal width may require more clearance. The real production tape should therefore be part of the approval process.
Sample testing should also include the strap under realistic tension. The angle of hardware can change when a bra or swimsuit is worn, and nearby stitching or folded tape sections can influence the final position.
For a new garment, the strap tape and hardware should be developed as one system. If an existing collection changes strap width, previously approved hardware should not automatically be reused. Moving from 8 mm / 0.31 in to 11 mm / 0.43 in requires a review of every connected component and the relevant fold and stitch positions.
Consistent size terminology should be shared by design, sampling, purchasing and production teams. Technical sheets, purchase orders and warehouse labels should use the same model code and size family.
A component is truly suitable only when the approved behavior can be repeated in production. If the elastic supplier, tape construction or finishing process changes, the hardware fit should be checked again. The nominal width may remain the same while the real material behavior changes.
Orientation during sewing or assembly can also matter. Keeping an approved reference sample available to the production team helps clarify how small hardware pieces should be routed and positioned.
Checking these items together reduces many common size and component-selection errors. For set products, remember that 500 sets and 500 physical pieces do not mean the same thing; package content should always be read.
Warehouse labels should identify model code and component type so rings, sliders and hooks with similar dimensions are not mixed. Production material should not be selected by visual similarity alone. A small dimensional difference can change the way a narrow strap moves or connects.
Model-code continuity is also useful for repeat orders, revisions and returns. Reordering only by a generic phrase such as “11 mm buckle” increases the risk of receiving a different component type.
After the sample is approved, the strap tape, hardware model and assembly method should be recorded on the technical sheet. If any of these elements changes during bulk production, a short verification sample is more reliable than assuming the original approval still applies.
Material, size, application, package content and component type answer different purchasing questions. Package content explains what is physically included in one sales unit, while minimum order quantity explains how many sales units must be ordered. The two should not be confused.
