A hole that is too small may stretch or damage the material. An oversized hole may prevent the eyelet from holding securely. Test both operations on an offcut of the actual material before working on the finished product.

12.5 mm and 15 mm Press Studs Require Separate Dies

The set contains separate setting dies for 12.5 mm (0.49 in) and 15 mm (0.59 in) 54 System press studs. Although both belong to the same system family, they cannot be installed with one universal die.

Check the cap diameter, spring system and bottom component before choosing the hardware. A matching visible diameter alone does not guarantee compatibility between different snap fastener constructions.

Choose Rivets by More Than Cap Diameter

The package includes dies for compatible 12 mm (0.47 in) single-cap rivets and 9.5 mm (0.37 in) double-cap rivets. When selecting a rivet, also check the post length, bottom component and combined thickness of the materials being joined.

A post that is too short may not hold all the layers securely. A post that is too long may bend or close unevenly. Always test handle connections and load-bearing points before putting the finished bag into use.

Magnetic Bag Clasp Compatibility

The magnetic clasp die is intended for a compatible 18 mm (0.71 in) single-tab magnetic bag clasp. Not every magnetic clasp with the same visible diameter has the same body, tab or backing construction.

Single-tab and double-tab systems should not be treated as interchangeable. If you already have the clasp, send us clear photos of its front, back and bottom components together with the measurements. We can help you check the application system before you order.

Check the Press Connection Before Ordering

The die must match both the hardware and the mounting point of your press. A die can be correct for the eyelet, rivet or press stud but still have the wrong thread for the machine.

For machines commonly used in Türkiye, the locally compatible connection is generally selected by default. If your machine was manufactured outside Türkiye, an M6 connection may be required.
